Southeastern Virginia Disaster Relief Update

Local authorities have assessed the disaster area and are at work to assist the families affected by the tornado disaster.  Local organizations are looking for assistance from volunteers and monetary donations to relief organizations.  For more information on how to get involved, click here.

STEP ALIVE! Walkathon

STEP ALIVE!, the annual walkathon for the ALIVE! Child Development Center will be held on Sunday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. Gather at First Christian Church, 2723 King Street, and walk a 5-mile loop through Old Town. Same-day registration fee is $10 for adults and $5 for teens and seniors. Children under 12 walk for free. A picnic for all walkers immediately following.
